MilleZola - Handmade Wool Bags
MilleZola association was established in two villages of the trekking road, Nangi and Tikot villageS by a French nurse.
"Women's skills for women's health" is the guiding principle.
Women in these villages have long woven Zola ("jhola") bags. The MilleZola goal is to help to expand their skills and to sell their bags beyond their small communities. The funds raised from MilleZola sales go toward giving these women a fair wage for their labor, and toward expanding villagers access to basic and emergency health care.
